Hello everyone,
I coordinated various presenters who could introduce Japanese traditional culture at Convention Center, San Antonio for a big Anime group, called San Japan on Sep. 3-4th and I myself presented Japanese Calligraphy Art collaborating with an American water color painter mainly. We were surprised to see so many visitors who love Japanese culture and Japan. I, as a VP of cultural activities of JASSA (Japan-America Society of San Antonio), participated in the event and it was a pleasure to promote Japanese traditional culture.
Please enjoy some photos of the presentations.
Thank you so much for your supporting us always!
Sincerely,
Mina

MIJC Japanese Conversation group No.46

Thursday, Aug 4, 2016, 3:00pm – 5:00pm
At library – San Antonio College

We’ve already had some lessons since last year in TX.
I didn’t have much time to update each lesson but probably it’s No.46.
Sometimes we did the lessons at Central Library downtown.

Two female learners were joining us but currently only male learners (average 3-4 people) are coming. It is still a small group but we are always passionate enough to study Japanese language and culture! So, as a Japanese teacher, it is normally acceptable for me to teach such a passionate learner over two hours..because it is my mission.

Thank you!
